CSLN Video Production

As Team Lead for Video Production at the Center for Spiritual Living Nashville, I manage all aspects of our live-stream broadcast. I handle the technical setup of the live feed, configure and operate the PTZ cameras, create the on-screen graphics and thumbnails, and direct the live show through the Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro switcher. I also manage the YouTube stream settings, including stream keys, descriptions, and thumbnails, and troubleshoot any live-streaming issues before each service.

Live broadcasts are interesting. I have a basic script or flow. The musicians show up an hour and a half early to do a sound check. That gives me about 30 minutes to set camera presets and get a feel for how the songs will flow (who is singing which parts and where instrumental breaks are). During the broadcast, I have to listen to the live performance and make decisions about which camera preset to use. It is live and dynamic.

The CSL (Centers for Spiritual Living) home office provides a branding guide for colors, fonts, and general visual approach. I adhere to their font and color choices to maintain consistency across the CSL family of centers.

Under my direction as a producer, our fabulous audio engineer and social media team lead, we have steadily elevated our production quality—reaching the milestone of 1,000 YouTube subscribers in October 2025.
