I haven’t posted in a while. I’ve been too busy with work and graduate studies. Although soon I will be posting some video stuff for my students. I’m formulating a few things in my head now.
I recently attended the first Higher Education Podcasting Users Group at the RODP (Regents On-line Distance Program). I gave a presentation that demonstrated how a Vodcast can be created using minimal technology. I captured video using my RAZR cell phone. Then I imported the video, added a copy of titles using Avid Free DV non-linear digital video editing software, saved it out to Quicktime and then used Quicktime Pro to export it to the Ipod format (m4g). It’s rough, but it worked. I moved it to my Ipod using Itunes. I’ll upload the file and post a link soon.
